Heather A. CreeD
Executive Director

Ms. Creed joined the staff as LLI's first Chief Operating Officer in April 2014 and became LLI's Executive Director in February 2015. Ms. Creed brings to LLI her unique experience and insight from her tenure at Legal Outreach, a diversity pipeline program based in New York City, as well as experience in law school administration in Texas and as an algebra teacher in Miami.

Ms. Thompson joined LLI In November 2021. She is an alumna of Kent State University and while there spent part of her collegiate career studying abroad in Spain. Olivia brings a fresh, yet familiar perspective to LLI as she is not only a former student of a college pipeline program, Upward Bound, but she also worked for the program in various capacities from mentorship to programming, recruiting, and retention. After several years in corporate America, Ms. Thompson is enthusiastic to develop other students’ leadership with the same support she received and is glad to know she is able to help students who look like her achieve even greater than her.

Nikkie Thompson
Office Manager & Program Coordinator

Ms. Thompson joined LLI in July 2023. She is an alumna of The Ohio State University with a background in Paralegal Studies and Criminology. Having spent a decade as a litigation paralegal, Ms. Thompson developed a deep appreciation of the law and its impact on society. This experience has ignited her true passion for helping shape the next generation of legal professionals and inspired her to join LLI. As a first-generation college student she understands the value of representation and empowerment for underrepresented communities in legal capacities. She has actively engaged with various organizations that aim to inspire and support individuals who share similar backgrounds. Ms. Thompson is excited to embark on a new career path supporting LLI’s mission.
