Executive Director, Ret.
Toledo Bar Association
Trish Branam is twice retired from the Toledo Bar Association. She served as Executive Director from June, 2001, to February, 2012. She then returned to the association as Interim Executive Director from January, 2016, until June, 2016.
Prior to her tenure at the Toledo Bar Association, she founded, developed and implemented a nationally acclaimed peer education program addressing abuse and violence in dating situations. The program was originally presented in three Toledo Public High Schools but soon expanded into all Toledo Public High Schools and Junior Highs as well as several parochial schools.
The program premise was that all adolescents can profoundly benefit from accurate information disseminated by their peers as well as the importance of providing opportunities, accountability and mentoring to all teens, particularly those from urban settings.
Trish has been a speaker and presenter at numerous workshops and conferences locally, regionally and nationally. As well as presentations on adolescent violence, she has spoken on building positive Board of Director dynamics and building consensus.
In retirement, she continues to serve on community boards and travel the world. She is the mother of three adult children and six grandchildren.
