Michael L. Robinson, Esq.
Michael L. Robinson received a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from Purdue University in 1974 and his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Akron School of Law in 1977. He has been in private practice in Akron for the past 36 years.
Mr. Robinson has served on the Board of Trustees of the Akron Bar, as Bar Secretary and as Bar President in 2011. He headed the search committee charged with finding a permanent home for the Bar offices, which resulted in the purchase and renovation of a historical building in downtown Akron. He has served on numerous committees including Grievance, Diversity, Scholarship, Lawyers Assistance and chaired the Professionalism Committee. He is a Life Fellow of the Akron Bar Association Foundation and the Ohio State Bar Foundation and served 9 years as a member of the Board of Governors of the Akron Bar Foundation.
Mr. Robinson serves on the Ohio State Bar Association Advisory Commission on Diversity Initiatives and is currently Chair of the Ohio Supreme Court’s Commission on Professionalism.
