Melissa Kendralla has taught Career and Technical and Street Law courses at South-Western City Schools since 2000. While at South-Western, she has served on the Course of Study Committee and Materials Adoption Committees in Information Technology and Marketing Technologies and Street Law, and has acted as a Mentor Trainer for incoming Resident Educators since 2008. South-Western City Schools bestowed the Pillar of Excellence Award on her in 2011.
Ms. Kendralla earned a Master’s of Education from Ashland University in 2003 and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Urbana University in 1987. In 2012 Ohio Dominican University awarded her a Teacher Leader Endorsement. She has also received the Central Ohio Association for Justice Outstanding Citizenship Award, and the Teacher of the Year Award from Panera Bread, both in 2009.
Ms. Kendralla has been an active member of the Ohio Center for Law Related Education since 2009, serving as a Program Mentor for Ohio Government in Action. She is also active with Kiwanis.
