“LLI has been more than a program that has taught me about law. LLI has taught me to be a self-motivator, a professional, and an effective leader. It has provided me with a community of people that care about my future and well-being.”

Capital University Law School
LLI City:
TCapital University Law School serves as one of the sites for the statewide Law and Leadership Institute. The Law and Leadership Institute is a pipeline program designed to increase diversity in law school and in the legal profession. The program seeks students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds who attend urban underserved schools. The students enroll as rising ninth graders and continue in the program until they graduate from high school. The students attend a summer program and an academic year program. Capital University is host to freshmen students and The Ohio State University is host to our sophomore through senior LLI students.
